Updates Galore – What to Expect from fallenpeach

Hi everyone! I know I’ve been super quiet here lately, but I’m in the middle of a million projects and I’m hoping to be back blogging by the end of July at the earliest. I am incredibly excited about everything we’ve been working on and I can’t wait to show off. 😀

Here is what you can expect from fallenpeach in the coming weeks:

1. My domain transfer finally went through. Which means that I’ll be transferring this blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and to fallenpeach.com officially, something that intimidates me a little. I’m hoping nothing goes horribly awry, but please be patient!

2. I have about 21 brand new bookmark designs that I photographed today and will be listing in the shop over the coming weeks! There are some great road trip kitch images as well as some beautiful hot air balloon images!

3. I also have three sets of 4 coasters photographed and almost ready to list! Yay for new products!

4. We are slowly building up our graphic design company, Side Route Studio, and I’m hoping to start working on the website soon. Stay tuned for updates on that. For a sneak peek at what to expect you can check out the temporary webspace here – Side Route Studio.

And on that note, back to work I go!

I took this photo in New York City at the John Lennon Memorial in Central Park. Take all kinds of adventures with you on your own trips with our photo travel keychains!

This image is also available as a bookmark, if you are looking for a new way to keep your place as well!

Sneak Peek: New Product Coming Soon!

Route 66 Coaster by fallenpeach on etsy

Though they are still very much in progress, I am incredibly excited to announce that I am working on making coasters for our shop! Photo transferring is a super fun process and I am loving the physicality of making these products. Above is the very first one I made – obviously I had to start with Route 66! Still needs to be sealed and corked, but I think it came out amazing! What do you think? Are you excited to see more coasters from us? Do you like the one I started with?

Shop Announcement: Retiring Photo Greeting Cards

Retro Lounge Route 66 Greeting Card by fallenpeach on Etsy

Retro Lounge Greeting Card is from a photo taken on Route 66 and is still available

This past weekend my brain was on fire with ideas. I truly believe that 2014 will be a time of growth, change and experimentation for fallenpeach and for me personally. It’s appropriate, I think because in September we will turn 5 years old as a company.

In the spirit of change and growth, I have made a difficult decision: it is time to retire my photo greeting cards from our Etsy Shop. Once they expire in the shop, I will not be renewing them. Hopefully I will be able to find a new home for them either on consignment or through wholesale and I will update you all if/when that happens. But for now – if you have been thinking about buying one (or more) of our photo cards (which are great for sending and also great for framing!) I would act now before they are gone!

Our Sammy and Friends cards will remain in the shop. In fact, we have more Sammy and Friends cards that are ready to be photographed and added in to the shop!

In addition to some brand new photo bookmarks that I am working on and a slew of new keychains that I have ready to photograph, I have an idea for a brand new product that I will be working on perfecting as well. Let the  challenges and growth of 2014 begin!

Reading Thursday: In the Middle of …

Currently Reading by fallenpeach

Happy Thursday! I’m currently in the middle of three very different books – Hob’s Bargain by Patricia Briggs, The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski and Jab, Jab, Jab, Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk. I’m enjoying all three, but should probably buckle down into one of them or else I’ll never finish them! Reading time has been relegated to last priority lately, which makes me a little sad.

What are you reading this week?

ps. I’m using our In Tall Buildings, Caged Flowers and Blue Petals bookmarks … at least one of which is available in our shop!

Custom Save the Date Bookmarks, now Available in our Etsy Shop!

Custom Save the Date Bookmarks by fallenpeach on etsy

I am incredibly happy to announce that we are now offering Custom Save the Date bookmarks in our Etsy Shop. When Matt and I were planning our wedding, we made custom bookmarks to send as Save the Dates to our friends and family. I loved the idea so much, I decided to offer something similar in our Etsy shop. These bookmarks are totally customizable. I will put your names and wedding date in a font that suits your personalities, and you get to choose what goes on the back! It can be a photo or text, whatever you wish. Click the photo for more information, and feel free to email or convo me if you have any other questions!
