Steampunk Faerie Catcher, Part 2: Faerie Aether

We’re calling it Faerie Aether. An (unfortunately non-working) sprayer used for catching faeries without killing or hurting them. It’s my main accessory for my steampunk Faerie Catcher costume and it is nearly done. I just need to attach a strap to it so that it can hang from my belt ready for use!

Materials: Bicycle pump, hose piece, gold paint, sand paper, strong glue, can of some kind.

It was really fun to make and I’m really proud of how it looks. Matt and I collaborated on this project from vision through to the end and I can’t wait to show it off in person at the World’s Fair.
