Yesterday, Matt and I went driving through Lyman Orchards in Middlefield, CT to see the peach trees. The flowers on the trees are blossoming and beautiful, though the fruit hasn’t started to grow yet. Lyman Orchards is a beautiful place to visit if you are in Connecticut.
I was able to get a lot of beautiful beautiful shots of the flowers, especially because it was close to sunset, and I can’t wait to start choosing ones to make into prints, cards and things. It’s going to be hard to choose just a few! Matt got a lot of great shots too, hopefully he’ll turn some of them into paintings.
Yesterday was a beautiful Spring day, with a touch of a chill to it – but not enough to need a coat (until night time anyway). We spent a lot of the day inside doing work, Matt worked on a commission charcoal drawing and I was editing, updating and listing and working on a graphic design job, so it was nice to get outside for a little while and play in the field. There were a lot of bees out, though, and then both of our camera batteries died, so we didn’t stay too too long.
That’s me! In the peach trees!
and on that note – Hope everyone had a good Monday and has a great Tuesday.
